AUDI RS 5
The new A5 comes in two variations: Sportback and Avant.

The new Audi RS 5 is expected to be available in two body styles: the Sportback shown in the photo and the Avant.
The previous A4 was available as a sedan (liftback), coupe, and convertible, but the current model, which evolved into the A5, offers Sportback and Avant body styles to suit market needs.

The Audi RS 5 Sportback prototype spotted in Spain has a wider body and larger air intakes than the standard A5, giving it an aggressive look. Huge cross-drilled brake rotors can be seen on the undercarriage. The distinctive oval dual exhaust pipes also make it clear that this prototype is an RS 5, not an A5 or S5.
Competing with Mercedes-AMG with electric assist

It is expected to be the first hybrid model from the Audi RS.
Unlike current RS models, the new RS 5 features a second fuel filler cap on the left rear fender. Audi hasn’t commented on the powertrain, but we expect it to be powered by the same 2.9-liter V6 twin-turbo engine as the previous-generation RS 5. It’s likely to be paired with one or more electric motors, making it a plug-in hybrid.
The maximum output will be significantly increased from the current 450 PS, and it will likely compete with the 680 PS of the Mercedes-AMG C 63 SE Performance, another plug-in hybrid, to become the most powerful sedan.
