AUDI A6 L e-tron
A well-balanced saloon thanks to the long wheelbase

[1] The extended wheelbase gives the car a more balanced appearance. [2] The rear of the car, including the diffuser, appears to have been slightly modified from the standard A6 e-tron.
The prototype spotted in the mountains of northern Sweden is fully camouflaged. From the silhouette, the model appears to be a full-fledged executive saloon. Its differences from the standard Audi A6 e-tron include a redesigned roofline and a larger rear end. The cabin has been adjusted behind the C-pillar to accommodate the longer wheelbase, resulting in more balanced proportions.
The front end features enlarged bumper intakes and a grille-less nose, while the rear diffuser has a simplified layout and may feature a unique pattern.
Specification changed exclusively for the Chinese market

We expect the interior to have also been modified for the Chinese market.
The A6 L e-tron debuted at the 2024 Beijing Motor Show. This China-market-exclusive model is based on the global Q6 e-tron and features revised styling, a China-specific infotainment system, and a larger battery pack. The same features will likely be found in the A6 L e-tron.
The A6 L e-tron is also produced in China.

Production will take place at the Changchun plant, which is home to a joint venture between FAW and Audi.
The mass-produced A6 L e-tron will use the PPE (Premium Platform Electric) platform for BEVs. It will be equipped with a 107kWh battery pack, and is expected to have a driving range of over 700km per charge in the CLTC cycle. Like the global version, it may be available in single (RWD) and dual (AWD) motor configurations.
The A6 L e-tron will be produced at the Changchun plant as part of a joint venture between Audi and FAW, and will be the second PPE model produced in China, following the Q6 L e-tron, which began production in December 2024.
