23 people selected from 800 applicants participated

This time, 23 people were selected from 800 applicants to participate in the program, and they also visited the Ferrari Challenge held at Fuji Speedway.
As the automotive industry continues to evolve through various technological innovations, the importance of personnel who have mastered both traditional craftsmanship and the latest technology is increasing. In response to this, Ferrari Japan held the “Tech Talent Program” at Fuji Speedway with the aim of discovering and training the next generation of mechanics.
The Tech Talent Program is linked to Ferrari’s Apprenticeship Program, which is run worldwide, and this time it goes beyond the scope of an internship to provide young people with a special opportunity to experience Ferrari’s brand value and the appeal of the profession from multiple angles.
The 23 participants, selected from over 800 applicants, were given the unique opportunity to experience the latest Ferrari car maintenance technology and learn practically the skills and attitude required of mechanics at authorized Ferrari dealerships in the immersive atmosphere of Fuji Speedway, where Ferrari Challenge Round 4 will be held. They also had the opportunity to interact with current mechanics working at dealerships across the country, experiencing firsthand how the top-notch skills and attention to detail underpin the brand’s reliability.
Experience practical maintenance on the circuit

Participants used the tools to actually experience maintenance such as changing tires, and at the end of the program there was a round-table discussion with a current mechanic.
The program is interactive, starting with an introduction to Ferrari’s history and brand philosophy, followed by a Ferrari Challenge grid walk and pit tour, where participants can see the actual maintenance site and experience the advanced technical skills and professionalism.
Practical workshops such as changing tires were also held, allowing participants to use the tools themselves and experience their technical skills and aptitude. The program concluded with a round-table discussion with a current mechanic from an authorized Ferrari dealer, where participants actively asked questions and received specific advice on professional mindset and career development.
The participants will be further selected through future programs and activities, and will be registered as potential mechanics who will be able to work at Ferrari authorized dealerships nationwide in the future. Ferrari Japan will continue to work to discover and develop young people who aim to become professionals through various activities, including this program.
