Porsche Sonderwunsch 911 Dakar
A replica of the 1984 Dakar winning car

The 911 Dakar, announced in 2022, is an off-road sports car developed with Porsche’s overall victory in the 1984 Paris-Dakar Rally in mind.
Porsche held the world premiere of the 911 Dakar at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November 2022. This special model, limited to 2,500 units, demonstrates the infinite potential of the 911 and was developed with Porsche’s first overall victory in the 1984 Paris-Dakar Rally in mind.
It is equipped with a 3.0-liter horizontally opposed 6-cylinder twin-turbo engine that produces a maximum output of 480 PS (353 kW) and a maximum torque of 570 Nm. It boasts acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, but considering the 50 mm lifted suspension and all-terrain tires, the top speed is limited to 240 km/h.
The car is equipped with an 8-speed PDK and Porsche 4WD system, rear-axle steering, engine mounts adopted from the 911 GT3, and the PDCC anti-roll stability system as standard. It can drive dynamically on sandy or gravel surfaces at the same level as on a circuit.
Choose a three-tone paint scheme reminiscent of the Mediterranean

This time, the Sonderbärs program has given it a beautiful three-tone paint job inspired by the Mediterranean.
Now, with the end of production of the 911 Dakar, an Italian sports car collector has commissioned the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur’s customization program, “Sonderwunsch (Special Request),” to create a special 911 Dakar. The completed “Sonderwunsch 911 Dakar” has been unveiled at the Porsche Museum.
The “Signaly Yellow” and “Gentian Blue Metallic” finishes complement the Rally Design package, reminiscent of the car that won the 1984 Paris-Dakar Rally. A blue line drawn between the two large color areas completes the unique three-tone paintwork. This vibrant blue is named “Lampedusa Blue” after an Italian Mediterranean island. This shade was created at the request of an Italian owner.
The LED matrix headlights feature accent rings in Lampedusa Blue, while the stainless steel protective elements on the front, rear and sills are all black. The spokes of the alloy wheels are also painted in Signali Yellow, with Lampedusa Blue accents on the rim edges. This livery was created entirely by hand in close collaboration between the owner and Porsche designers.
The cockpit is black with yellow accents

The racy black cockpit is combined with speedy yellow accents to match the exterior.
The interior is based on black, with Speedy Yellow accents on the dashboard, center console, door panel stitching, and trim strips.
The “Sports Seats Plus” headrests are embroidered with “911 Dakar” lettering in Speedy Yellow thread, the gear selector for the eight-speed PDK also has a Speedy Yellow leather insert, and when the doors are opened, an LED projector projects the “Sonderwunsch” logo onto the ground.
The Sonderversch 911 Dakar is currently on display at the Porsche Museum and will be handed over to its owner after the exhibition ends. For a limited time, you can get a close look at its beautiful three-tone livery in the museum foyer, along with other unique variants from the limited series.
