The 2024 FIA GT World Cup (Macau GT Cup, FIA GT World Cup) will be held at the Guia Circuit in downtown Macau from November 14th to 17th. The qualifying race will be 12 laps and the final race will be 16 laps, with 23 GT3 cars entered from Audi, BMW, Porsche, Mercedes-AMG, Lamborghini and Ferrari.
Ferrari will be competing with three 296 GT3s from Harmony Racing and AF Corse. Ye Yifei will drive the Harmony Racing car No. 50, Daniel Serra will drive the No. 51, and Antonio Fuoco, the Le Mans 24 Hours winner, will drive the AF Corse car No. 83. This time, Harmony Racing’s 296 GT3 will be painted in a special red and yellow livery inspired by Macau.
The Guia Circuit in Macau is a street circuit that weaves through Macau’s old town and glittering buildings. The 6,120km long course is narrow, and the surface that is used as a public road is extremely bumpy. It is one of the most difficult courses in the world, with many accidents occurring there every year. In addition to Ferrari, many WEC drivers will be competing in this year’s FIA GT World Cup.
Yifei, who will drive the No. 50 car, has already experienced the 296 GT3 at the Monza 3 Hours, Round 4 of the GT World Cup Europe, while Serra, who will drive the No. 51 car, won the Daytona 24 Hours in January, driving a 296 GT3 alongside Davide Rigon, Alessandro Pier Guidi and James Calado.
