SINGER 930 Convertible
Original model based on the 1989 911

The Singer 930 Convertible is based on a 1989 Porsche 911.
The Singer 930 Convertible is Singer’s first open-top model, based on the third-generation 911 that debuted in 1989 and inspired by the second-generation 930. Its carbon fiber body is painted in “Calis Red” and is fitted with a large ducktail spoiler. Inside the cabin, the five analog meters are reminiscent of the 930, while the car is also equipped with the latest features such as a wireless smartphone charger.
Is this an evolved version of the 2022 model?

The exterior does not appear to have changed significantly from the Singer 930 Convertible released in 2022.
We compared the prototype captured at the Nürburgring with photos of the model that will be released in 2022. The emblem on the front hood has been removed from this test vehicle, and the “PORSCHE” logo between the taillights and the “Singer” lettering under the ducktail spoiler have also been removed.
The wheels fitted to the Michelin tyres have also been changed from a two-tone colour to a silver finish, and while there are no other major changes, it seems likely that some adjustments have been made to the chassis and that a new setup was being tested at the Nürburgring.
Power exceeds 500 horsepower

The current model is equipped with a 3.8-liter air-cooled flat-six engine that produces 510 PS.
The 930 Convertible’s powertrain is a Metzger 3.8-liter air-cooled flat-six engine. It is equipped with an electric wastegate and two turbochargers with dedicated air-to-air intercoolers. Combined with a six-speed manual transmission, it produces 510 PS, far exceeding the original 930’s maximum output of 260 PS. For customers who don’t require high power, a detuned version with 456 PS is also available.
Is the price close to 300 million yen?

I’m looking forward to seeing how it evolves when it appears.
Singer models are immensely popular despite their prices easily exceeding 100 million yen. The 930 Convertible, released two years ago, is likely already sold out. The improved model we scooped this time will also easily exceed 200 million yen. What kind of evolution will it have to justify that price? Anticipation is building.
