Porsche 911 GT3 RS “Manthey Kit”
Circuit kit designed by the WEC champion

The “Mantei Kit”, jointly developed by Manthey Racing and Weissach, which achieved a 1-2 finish in the LMGT3 class of this season’s WEC, has been released.
Porsche has introduced the newly developed “Mantei Kit” for the current 992-type “911 GT3 RS.” This significantly improves driving performance, especially on the circuit. This kit increases downforce and improves cornering speed.
The suspension has been specially set up for track use, and the brakes have also been optimised to meet the high demands of the track. The new Manthey kit was developed in collaboration between the Porsche Development Centre in Weissach and Manthey Racing, the LMGT3 class title winners of the World Endurance Championship (WEC).
The Manthey kit for the 911 GT3 RS will be sold through Porsche Centres worldwide and orders are already open. It will be available in Europe from January 2025 and outside the EU from March 2025, priced at 76,911 euros (excluding tax and installation at a Porsche Centre).
Shark fin derived from the WEC championship-winning 963

The rear window has been changed to a carbon fiber panel, and a shark fin borrowed from the 963 that competes in the WEC has been placed there.
Thanks to the extensive changes to the aerodynamic components, the Manthey Kit for the 911 GT3 RS makes an immediate impression. The new spoiler lip has been enlarged and is supported by carbon fiber reinforcement elements. Together with the redesigned wheel arch gurney flaps and two dive planes on either side of the front bumper, this increases downforce on the front axle.
The rear window has been replaced with a 25% lighter carbon fiber panel, topped with a carbon fiber shark fin. This shark fin, derived from the 963 hypercar that won three WEC races this year, is designed to improve cornering stability. In combination with the six roof fins, it efficiently vents hot air from the front radiator to the outside and allows fresh air to enter the rear engine bay even under extreme driving conditions.
The segmented carbon fibre DRS wing elements, combined with redesigned larger end plates, increase downforce around the rear axle, while the rear diffuser has increased the size of its carbon fibre fins, improving downforce levels without increasing drag.
The carbon fiber “Aero Disc Wheel Covers” reduce air resistance and add a racing car-like appearance to the exterior. Each aerodynamic component significantly increases downforce without increasing air resistance. At speeds of 285 km/h, they generate over 1,000 kg of downforce, maximizing vehicle stability in high- and medium-speed corners.
Specially designed suspension

The suspension is optimized for circuit performance and the settings can be adjusted to suit the driver’s preferences.
The spring rates of the semi-active coil-over suspension have been specially adjusted to match the increased downforce levels: they have been increased by 30% on the front axle and 15% on the rear axle. Four wheel sensors, three body acceleration sensors and a newly developed control unit also enable fully automatic damper tuning.
The newly developed shock absorbers have two independent valves for compression and rebound, allowing precise adjustment to adapt to changes in driving conditions and road surface, significantly improving stability on the circuit.
The driving modes Normal, Sport and Track introduce different sets of damper parameters, while in Track mode the basic set-up can also be manually adjusted to suit personal preference using the rotary controls on the steering wheel.
Brake components are specifically tailored to the requirements of circuit driving. Steel sheet brake lines provide a more direct pedal feel and quicker response. Racing brake pads are now available as an option for vehicles equipped with Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB).
“Manthey” lettering on various parts of the body

For customers who want to highlight that their model is a direct descendant of Manthey Racing, “Manthey” lettering is available and can be attached to various parts of the body.
For customers looking to add visual touches, there are exterior options exclusive to the Manthey kit: illuminated carbon fiber door sill guards with red and white “Manthey” lettering, LED door projectors with white “Manthey” lettering, and decals in various colors on the carbon “aero discs” highlight the individuality of the 911 GT3 RS.
“Manthey” lettering can also be fitted to the doors in three colours: neodymium, white or black. For customers who drive on the circuit, special “towing eyes” are also available for the front or rear. The towing eyes are available in red, black or yellow and are attached to special screw holes. However, they must be removed when using on public roads.
Porsche brand ambassador and racing driver Jörg Bergmeister commented on the Manthey kit:
“With the Manthey kit, the 911 GT3 RS behaves significantly better on the race track, especially in mid-speed corners. Dive, pitch and roll are further reduced, making the car more stable. The high ground pressure remains high and constant under all driving conditions.”
