Porsche 911 GT3 R EVO
Participating from Harvard Motorsports

This time, preparation and participation in the 12 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps will be handled by Habers Motorsport, which has a long history of experience in endurance racing.
The Creventic 24h Series will hold a split-format endurance race, known as the Michelin 12 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, on April 19-20. After practice sessions, testing, and qualifying, the race will kick off with a five-hour final race on April 19, before resuming the remaining seven hours on the following day, April 20.
Habers Motorsport’s Porsche 911 GT3 R test specification will be entered in the Michelin 12 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps race, bearing the race number 91. Former Porsche junior and IMSA GTD Pro champion Laurin Heinrich will be at the helm, along with Ralf Bohn and Alfred Renauer.
Sebastian Goltz, project manager for the 911 GT3 R, commented on the purpose of this participation:
“The Creventic Series provides the ideal environment for such an important test. With many privateer teams racing at a high level and long track times, the Spa-Francorchamps circuit will pose a formidable challenge for both drivers and cars.”
“As a private team with a long-standing relationship with Porsche, Habers Motorsport will provide us with valuable feedback on the vehicle’s handling, maintainability, ergonomics and controls. We are also looking forward to hearing honest feedback from the drivers.”
Supply to privateers to begin in 2026

The updated version of the 911 GT3 R that will be tested in real races this time will be announced in the summer of 2025 and will be available to privateers from the start of the 2026 season.
Since its launch in the 2023 season, the current 911 GT3 R has achieved a number of important victories, including victory in the LMGT3 class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the FIA Endurance Trophy in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), the GTD Pro title in the North American IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, Porsche’s first DTM title, and Porsche’s manufacturers’ title in the Intercontinental GT Challenge.
The Porsche 911 GT3 R Evo will be developed based on the highly successful current model and is scheduled to be unveiled in the summer of 2025. With the aim of supplying the car to privateers from 2026, Porsche Motorsport engineers are continuing development with a focus on improving drivability.
The aerodynamic components have been modified to reduce pitch and improve the front end’s behavior under braking and acceleration. There have also been significant software updates, and the steering system has been refined by the development team in Weissach. Further technical details about the 911 GT3 R Evo will be announced at a later date.
