Ferrari Roma Spider Tailor Made
Active use of recycled materials

The Roma Spider, which will be on display at the Ferrari Museum, uses recycled materials for both the interior and exterior, making it a car that represents Ferrari’s emphasis on sustainability.
The Ferrari Roma Spider, manufactured by Tailor Made, will be exhibited at the Ferrari Museum’s special exhibition “Ferrari One of a Kind.” The beautiful gold-colored Roma Spider is a car that actively incorporates sustainable materials developed by Ferrari.
The aluminium body parts for the front fender shields are made from recycled aluminium generated during production, which has been laser engraved with a special compass rose and Maranello geographical coordinates. Recycled aluminium is also now being reused in Ferrari’s twin-turbo V8 engine, continuing efforts to minimise waste.
Equipped with a fountain pen jointly developed with Montblanc

The interior includes a special Meisterstück fountain pen, developed in collaboration with Montblanc, along with a special logbook.
This time, in collaboration with Montblanc, a special fountain pen called “Meisterstück” has been created, inspired by the Ferrari Roma Spider Tailor Made.
The fountain pen body is a special color, Oro Mida, selected by the Maranello Styling Center, and the hand-crafted Au750 pure gold nib features a compass mark and platinum coating. The cap and barrel are also platinum-coated.
The specially crafted Meisterstück also comes with a logbook made from recycled leather in the same colour as the Ferrari Roma Spider’s interior. The cover is engraved with the Maranello coordinates, which are available in a combination of Rosso Bologna and Pelle Metalliziata Oro Mida. The coordinates are in the same design as the compass rose engraved on the fender, representing the inseparable relationship between the car and the fountain pen.
On display at the Ferrari Museum until February 2025

The interior also features many recycled materials. The Roma Spider has been added to the Ferrari Museum’s ongoing exhibition “Ferrari One of a Kind,” which will be open to the public until February 18, 2025.
The interior centre panel is trimmed in leather and sewn with thread recycled from used tyres, the tonneau cover and rear floor are clad in chrome-free nappa leather (free from chrome agents and harmful chromium compounds, using a more environmentally friendly alternative) and origin-controlled wood, while the centre console features components made from recycled sand used in the moulds of Maranello’s foundry.
The Roma Spider unveiled this time was produced for research and development into materials and processing to expand the personalization options offered by the Tailor Made division. For this reason, it will not be sold to the general public, but will be on display at the Ferrari Museum in Modena as part of the special exhibition “Ferrari One of a Kind (A Ferrari with Only One in the World).” This will be a rare opportunity to see with your own eyes the wide range of materials, fabrics, colors and options that the Tailor Made division offers to customers.
The special exhibition “Ferrari One of a Kind” began on February 18, 2024, and is currently showcasing one-of-a-kind Ferraris created by the Tailor Made department in Maranello, New York, Shanghai, and other cities. The Roma Spider is scheduled to remain on display until February 2025.
