A diverse lineup of the 10 best cars
On October 30th, the “10 Best Cars” for the 2025-2026 Japan Car of the Year were finally announced at the Japan Mobility Show 2025, which is being held at Tokyo Big Sight.
This year, 10 cars were selected from 35 nominees through voting by a 60-member selection committee made up of automotive critics and journalists. Let’s take a look at the brilliant cars that were selected this year.

The Car of the Year will be selected from the 10 cars chosen this time at the final selection meeting to be held on December 4th. Please look forward to the YouTube broadcast!
Following test drives and evaluations at the “10 Best Test Drive” to be held on Wednesday, November 19th, this year’s Car of the Year will be decided at the final selection meeting on Thursday, December 4th.
The final selection and award ceremony will be streamed live on the Japan Car of the Year official YouTube channel from 3:30pm on the day of the awards , so stay tuned!
