The title “Venom” is given to a special vehicle
Based on the Mustang Dark Horse, the engine and aerodynamics have been updated, and Hennessey Performance Engineering has given it the title “Venom,” a designation reserved for only the most powerful machines.
Hennessey Performance Engineering, which has worked on various hypercars, has completed the “Super Venom Mustang” based on the Mustang’s performance specification “Dark Horse.” The factory 5.0-liter V8 naturally aspirated engine has been tuned, increasing maximum output by approximately 70% from 506 PS to 861 PS. Maximum torque has also increased by 55% to 881 Nm.
To match the significantly improved engine performance, the car is fitted with a special carbon fiber “VenomAero” performance kit that improves handling and cooling performance, allowing the car to enjoy the highest level of performance not only on public roads but also on the circuit.
John Hennessey, founder and CEO of Hennessey Performance, commented on the Super Venom Mustang:

The Super Venom Mustang delivers the same performance as the Super Sport and is available to order directly from your Ford dealer with a full warranty. We’re also excited to be producing only 91 units, in honor of the year our company was founded in 1991.”
70% increase in power output from the dark horse
The heart of the car is a 5.0-liter V8 naturally aspirated engine that has been fitted with a supercharger, achieving a maximum output of 861 PS, a 70% increase in power.
Now, Hennessey Performance Engineering has added a high-flow air induction system, a high-performance supercharger, upgraded injectors and fuel pump, and a Hennessey engine management system, boosting the 5.0-liter V8 engine’s output to 861 PS.
The carbon fiber “Venom Aero” system, designed and developed exclusively for the Mustang Black Horse, includes an aggressively shaped front splitter, front hood vents, side skirts, front fender louvers, a ducktail-shaped rear decklid, and a fixed rear track wing. It significantly improves aerodynamics and cooling performance.
It boasts impressive performance, with a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 3.2 seconds and a 0-1/4 mile time of 12 seconds. Pricing for the Super Venom Mustang starts at $163,950. In addition to Ford’s genuine warranty program, it also comes with a Hennessey three-year/36,000-mile supplemental warranty.
