LEXUS LFR (LFA II)
The exterior has been modified to fit roads.

While maintaining the aggressive image of the GT3 race car, the details have been newly designed for public roads.
The prototype “LFR,” photographed near the Nürburgring, maintains the aggressive design and proportions of the GT3 race car. However, the details also reveal newly designed parts for public roads. The front air intakes have been redesigned to be more compact, compared to the large ones found on the GT3 race car, which were designed with circuit racing in mind. The canards and hood air scoop also appear to have been significantly smaller.
The prototype is fitted with a large race car rear wing, but we expect this will be replaced with a compact fixed spoiler visible at the rear. While the track-only version featured side-mounted exhaust outlets, this prototype features a new design with four exhaust pipes integrated into the rear diffuser. The large centrally mounted brake light on the GT3 has been replaced with a license plate holder.
Lexus flagship to be further refined

Further refinements will likely be added in the future.
While there appear to be many changes from the GT3, according to a photographer who photographed the actual car on-site, there are clearly areas that need fine-tuning. By the time the LFR, which will be Lexus’ flagship sports car, is released, additional changes such as LED light graphics, side mirrors, and adjustments to the overall window design are expected.
It will be released next year under the name LFA II or LFR.

It is expected to be released next year with a V8 engine producing 800-900 PS.
The powertrain of interest is rumored to be a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine combined with a hybrid system, with the system’s maximum output expected to be between 800 and 900 PS. The world premiere is expected to be in the second half of 2025, with the price expected to be close to the LFA’s 37.5 million yen. Many are speculating that the commercial model will be called LFR or “LFA II.”
