LEXUS LC500
Driving performance honed by “Shimoyama”

Now in its seventh year since its debut, the LC has been continuously improved at Toyota Technical Center Shimoyama, and this latest partial improvement includes the introduction of underfloor braces to the LC500.
Since its launch in 2017, the luxury coupe “Lexus LC” has achieved excellent driving performance through repeated improvements to its basic performance. It is a vehicle that sets the tone for the ride quality of all Lexus models. For this partial improvement, meticulous testing was carried out at the “Toyota Technical Center Shimoyama” in Aichi Prefecture, further pursuing the LC’s development concept of “sharper and more elegant.”
Specifically, underfloor braces are used at the front and rear of the LC500, ensuring high torsional rigidity for the chassis, achieving both excellent handling stability and high levels of vehicle responsiveness, with the car responding precisely to the driver’s steering inputs.
High-quality Alcantara interior

In this partial improvement, Alcantara has been adopted for the covering material on the passenger side of the instrument panel, realizing a more luxurious interior space.
In the interior, Alcantara has been used on the passenger side of the instrument panel of the LC500h and LC500 to further enhance passenger comfort. This highlights the beauty of the design that continues from the driver’s seat to the passenger seat, adding a further sense of quality to the interior space.
