ELFORD × LAND CRUISER 300ZX
The ultimate urban off-roader with a low-down form

The Celestial comes in two colors: Brushed Up and Semi-Gloss Black. The semi-gloss black color is characterized by the diamond-cut rims that accentuate the circumference of the large-diameter wheels. Elford’s original suspension, which was developed over time, is hidden behind the tires as the driving force behind the wheels. The bottom line is beautifully connected from any angle, and this is also due to the extension parts that fit over the genuine side steps.
Elford is a custom parts brand run by Meiwa, which has focused on domestically produced SUVs since its founding, developing and selling original parts and wheels. It has seen the evolution of customization trends over the years. Thirty years ago, SUVs (4WD at the time) were vehicles for off-roading, and there was a time when there was a critical trend towards lowering them and adding aero parts, but that was a long time ago. For the latest Land Cruiser 300ZX, Elford has returned to its roots and created a low-down form that is the ultimate urban off-roader.
The Land Cruiser 300 emerges with a heavyweight presence. It’s already a large car, but it now has a stately, regal presence. Parts such as the aero parts, muffler, and wheels, which Elford specializes in, exude presence and further enhance the car’s impact. Elford parts are designed to blend seamlessly with even cars equipped with Modellista aero parts. This is true for all parts such as the underwing and muffler garnish attached here. And this time, the car is fitted with original lowering springs, the prototype of which was finally completed after much development. This has resulted in a 40mm lowering of the front and 50mm lowering of the rear. The center of gravity is positioned lower, adding to the car’s aggressive and powerful aura.
Pleasant engine sound

The stainless steel muffler is available for cars with standard bumpers and cars with a Modellista rear skirt. You can also choose the oval type to suit your preference. Cars with a Modellista rear skirt require cutting an opening, but the presence of the muffler garnish ensures that the sense of unity is not compromised. In this case, it has been painted in the LX’s gray metallic color to further enhance the overall harmony.

As a way to prevent theft, which is a major problem for Land Cruiser owners, Elford proposes a removable accelerator pedal. It is easy to replace with the original pedal, and by removing it when you leave the car, even if you manage to unlock the door and start the engine, it will not be possible to start the car. Please be careful not to lose it.
The square tail’s four-pipe exhaust system lets out a pleasant roar of the engine revving. It’s a sound worthy of a champion, but it’s not so loud that it makes you want to cover your ears. It also complies with new exhaust regulations, so it can be left installed as is during vehicle inspections. ELFORD is also committed to being environmentally friendly.
Overall, the most eye-catching feature is undoubtedly the large 24-inch original wheel “Celestial.” This is a masterpiece from Elford, a Japanese-made forged one-piece wheel that weighs just 15kg, adding a dash of bravery to the Land Cruiser’s stride. A step rim has been adopted to prioritize strength and ride comfort, and the wheel also features a patented wheel mechanism known as the “Anti-Air Leak System.” This is a special structure that prevents not only slight air leaks, but also air leaks even if the tire is deformed. Elford told us that their goal is to raise the value of customization by not only looking cool, but also by improving safety.
Parts that focus on safety

The 10-inch LED bar lamp comes with a dedicated panel, so it can be installed without a roof rack. It is also compatible with moonroof vehicles. The add-on underwing that can be attached under the Modellista front spoiler creates a perfect low-down form.
The original LED bar light attached to the roof is also a safety-focused part. It can switch between two types of LEDs: high beam and daytime running light. In addition to its intended purpose of being a useful light source during work, the daytime running light also increases visibility, helping to prevent accidents when driving in poor visibility conditions.
Although it is a return to its roots, the Elford has continued to evolve over the years. With a wide range of customization approaches that take into account the safety and environmental considerations required by the times, this car with the longest history in Japan will be even more attractive today and tomorrow.
