The Maison Mistral Narrow Design, which modifies a late-model W463 G-Class to resemble the first generation (W460), is secretly popular. While almost all of the genuine exterior parts that are still available have been modified to W460 and W461 models, the interior, powertrain, driver assistance and safety devices remain the same as the late-model. It’s the perfect car for those who want to drive a classic car without any reservations. This year, a model based on the AMG G 63 was also released. It has been extensively modified, including the cooling system, to bring it back to its roots.

MID WHEELS

MID (Maruka Intelligent Design) is a wheel brand established by Maruka Service, which plans and develops automotive accessories. With each passing year, the brand has expanded its range of products, including premium models. This year, the brand unveiled its top-of-the-line model, the Element Six, which is matched to the W463A G-Class. This is an ambitious product that combines a carbon rim with a machined and forged disc. This is an exceptional product that has the potential to make a mark on the crowded high-end wheel world.

BRABUS

After all, everyone wants a Brabus.

BRABUS

Among the many Brabus “supercars,” the 800 series, which boasts a maximum output of 800 PS, is a popular model, especially in the G-Class (AMG G 63). The latest to appear is the G800, based on the W465 model. This program was unveiled at the new product launch event at Brabus headquarters in 2024, and this marks its Asian premiere. All of the body parts, including the Widestar body kit that easily handles the powerful output, are made from high-quality carbon fiber.

RAYS

Towards even greater premium with the new AST technology

RAYS

Volk Racing is Rays’ flagship brand, and the TE37 series remains a key part of the lineup. This year, the company unveiled the TE37GC, a 23-inch wheel for premium SUVs. It was fitted to the G-Class. The rugged six-spoke design is typical of the TE37 and matches the G-Class perfectly. The particularly luxurious feel is perhaps due to the new AST (Advanced Surface Technology) technology, which combines the gloss of a polished three-dimensional curved surface with the edgy feel achieved through machining technology.

Akrapovič has been one of the first to release an exhaust system (Evolution Line, tailpipe set) for the new (W465) AMG G 63. Not only was it developed quickly, but it also achieves a maximum power increase of 15.8kW, a maximum torque of 25.3Nm, and is 45% lighter than the stock model, so performance is unmatched. Although we weren’t able to hear the actual sound at the venue, we’re sure it will produce the same wild and sensual sound as previous G-Class models.

The classic saloon will continue to shine forever

EURO

Euro, a specialist in Mercedes customization, brought in a matte gray-wrapped S 63 E Performance this year. Even though it’s a model that’s only just been released, their procurement capabilities show a wealth of know-how. The setup was simple: a full S 63 aero kit, 22-inch wheels called “COR SPEED DEVILLE,” and a lowering kit to adjust the feet, but it still emphasized that the sedan is the king of Mercedes-Benz.

Makeover, an Audi parts brand, and its original brand, Balance It, are regulars at the Auto Salon. This year, they brought an RS Q3 Sportback, but were drawn to the SLR McLaren 722 Edition that was displayed alongside it. The car is protected with a full protective film, but the owner says it’s still used on a daily basis. The wheels are Balance It’s BIT5S. The technology they’ve honed for Audis supports this historic supercar.

Factor Selection has adopted body parts from the Maison Mistral Narrow Design W463A model and presented their original forged wheels, the G-FORGED Spinnennetz. They feature 10.5J x 20-inch wheels with a spider web-like spoke design. The W108 S-Class, finished as a stance car with the spider web image scattered throughout the body, is also attracting attention. The same wheels are fitted to both models, which have different worldviews.

Waltbeer has been a Mercedes specialist shop for over 30 years, and this time they put their know-how to work on the CLE53. The original front lip spoiler slightly tightens the car’s appearance, while a suspension kit lowers the car. The wheels were also changed to TWS Exlete 210M with elegant 10-intersection mesh wheels. The 21-inch wheels front and rear, combined with the perfect balance of ride height, create a very mature finish.

The Advan Sport V107 actively supports third-party wheel upgrades. It now comes in sizes up to 24 inches and is favored by high-end car tuners. This year, the AMG G63 was a symbol of this trend. It combines American Forged Wheels’ 1221 wheels (0110 Apex2.0) with 305/35R23 Advan Sport V107s. Advan’s presence remains timeless in the sense that it expands the possibilities for customization.
