FIAT 500 Hybrid
Mirafiori plant produces 100,000 units per year

The Fiat 500 Hybrid is scheduled to be produced at the Mirafiori plant in Italy at a rate of 100,000 units per year.
Fiat has completed the assembly of pre-production Fiat 500 Hybrid vehicles at its Mirafiori plant in Turin. This testing process marks an important step towards the start of full-scale production, scheduled for November 2025.
By adding a mild hybrid model to the 500e, currently sold as a fully electric compact car, Fiat will expand its lineup in the European market, including Italy. Olivier François, Stellantis Global CMO and Fiat CEO, explained the addition of the 500 Hybrid as follows:
“The 500 Hybrid will offer the market an affordable electric vehicle with iconic style, and we will secure production slots at Mirafiori and ramp up production to meet demand. Our roots are in Italy, and it is no coincidence that two of Fiat’s most iconic models, the Panda, are produced in Pomigliano d’Arco and the 500, in Mirafiori.”
All 500 models will be produced at the Mirafiori plant, with over 70% exported outside of Italy. The 500 Hybrid will be introduced in markets around the world, including Italy, Europe, and Japan. At this time, details of the hybrid powertrain have not been revealed.
