TOKYO AUTO SALON 2025
Annual custom car festival

Last year’s situation
This year’s Tokyo Auto Salon will feature 388 exhibitors and 851 vehicles on display (as of December 10th). This will provide a great opportunity to experience the latest customization technologies and trends. In addition to the vehicle exhibits, there will be plenty of content with participation from industry-leading companies and artists. The content is sure to meet visitor expectations and is sure to be even more exciting than previous years.
One particularly noteworthy program is the “auto sport 60th Anniversary & as-web 20th Anniversary Honda F1 Run” to be held at the outdoor venue. This special event will take place on Saturday the 11th, and will feature two historic F1 cars: the Honda RA272 and the McLaren Honda MP4/5. The Honda RA272 is the memorable vehicle that brought Honda its first F1 victory in 1965, and on the day, Takuma Sato will be behind the wheel to demonstrate the car.
Meanwhile, the McLaren Honda MP4/5 is a legendary car that won 10 out of 16 races in the 1989 F1 World Championship, taking both the Drivers’ and Constructors’ titles. The engine of this car will be started, allowing visitors to experience the rare engine sound up close. Please note that the F1 car run may be canceled in the event of rain, so please check the official website for details.
Music fans can’t miss it

The 2025 mascot is A-class.
Also not to be missed by music fans is the “AUTO SALON SPECIAL LIVE.” Hitomi, Nanase Aikawa, Hitomi Shimatani, and Rainy will perform on the 11th (Sat), while Toshihiko Tahara, Yoshie Kashiwabara, DJ KOO, Yu Serizawa feat. MOTSU, and Leon Niihama will grace the stage on the 12th (Sun). Anyone with a Tokyo Auto Salon ticket for the corresponding day can attend these live shows. The spectacular lineup will liven up visitors’ weekend.
A “survey giveaway” will also be held as a special gift for visitors. This time, the grand prize will be a “LEVORG STI Sport R-Black Limited” provided by SUBARU Corporation, which will be won by lottery. There will also be many other luxurious prizes, making this a project that will make you excited just by visiting.
Live streaming on Auto Salon TV

Those who cannot make it to the venue due to distance can still enjoy the live broadcast on Auto Salon TV. Simultaneous commentary will be provided in both Japanese and English, allowing many car fans both in Japan and overseas to watch the event in real time.
