Chaos inside the backpack

Ishikawa usually carries around a lot of charging cables, chargers, hair styling products for when he travels, etc. All of these items can be stored with ease.
As the editor of the popular gadget series in GENROQ magazine, if I were to introduce the most interesting item I bought this year, I thought it would have to be a gadget. In fact, it seems like all the things I bought personally this year (too?) were gadgets.
Ishikawa, a somewhat laid-back gadget geek and car magazine editor, chose the Anker Smart Pouch.
Due to the nature of my work, I always carry my MacBook Pro laptop, my company-issued iPhone 12, my personal iPhone 15 Pro, and my noise-canceling AirPods Pro in my backpack so I can concentrate on my work at the office or in a cafe. Naturally, this requires a proper charging environment, and my backpack has become a chaotic mess with various gadget cases and devices, including a laptop charger, charging cables such as Type-C and Lightning, and a mobile battery.
Incredible storage capacity

It’s only 5cm thick, so it fits easily into a backpack. It’s so convenient. The back side can fit an iPad mini or a half-size B5 notebook.
Finding the cable you’re looking for in such a chaotic backpack is a difficult task. What’s more, when you take it out of the bag, it’s often tangled and tangled. It’s stressful to the max every time!
The thing that saved me from my confusion was the Anker Smart Pouch mentioned above. This gadget pouch is actually a masterpiece developed in collaboration with stationery manufacturer Kokuyo. In other words, it’s a special pouch packed with all of Kokuyo’s stationery storage know-how.
What’s great about this bag is its compact size, yet its storage capacity is impressive, allowing it to hold numerous gadgets. In addition to the main compartment, it has two Velcro straps for organizing cables, four mesh and stretchy interior pockets, and a zippered pocket, providing incredible storage capacity. Since I bought it, I’ve always carried two Type-C cables, an Anker multi-charger, a Lightning charging cable, an AirPods Pro, an Apple Watch charging cable, Type-C earphones (for online meetings), hair styling products, disposable contact lenses, and medication.
Easy on the wallet

Since my MacBook Pro charger is huge, I bought the Anker Prome Wall Charger to charge my PC. It’s a compact charger with three ports and a maximum output of 67W. I love using it.
I was personally shocked that so much gadgetry could fit into a body measuring just 23cm x 16cm x 5cm and weighing 165g. What’s more, as is typical of Kokuyo products, the pouch stands upright when open, making it incredibly easy to find the cable you’re looking for while using your laptop at a business hotel. At just 5cm thick, it doesn’t take up much space in your backpack, so if you just carry this pouch with you, you can always head out on overnight business trips for reporting.
What’s more, there is a pocket on the back of the pouch that can fit an iPad mini (although unfortunately I don’t own an iPad mini…).
In fact, since I bought this pouch, I’ve found it so convenient that I ended up throwing away the travel pouch I used to store my amenities in, since I don’t think I’ll need it anymore. It’s also great that it’s so highly functional yet so wallet-friendly at just 3,980 yen (tax included). But then, when I checked the Anker and Amazon websites to write this article, I discovered that this pouch is currently out of stock!!
It’s no wonder it’s so popular. If you carry a lot of gadgets around with you and have trouble storing all those cables, this product will definitely be a lifesaver. I personally highly recommend this product!
