The Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, which broke various speed records and times in 2024, is equipped with a 5.5-liter V8 twin-turbo engine that produces a maximum output of 1079 PS.
The Corvette ZR1, the most powerful model of the 8th generation Corvette, is equipped with a 5.5-liter V8 “LT7” twin-turbo engine mounted in the rear mid-mounted position. It produces a maximum output of 1079 PS and a maximum torque of 1123 Nm. To achieve the highest level of aerodynamics, it is equipped with a special carbon fiber aero package, and has a top speed of 346 km/h.
Pricing for the 2025 Corvette ZR1, which will finally go on sale, was announced the day before the Detroit Motor Show, which opened on January 10th. The suggested retail price starts at $174,995 for the Corvette ZR1 1LZ Coupe and $184,995 for the Corvette ZR1 1LZ Convertible.
The 2025 Detroit Motor Show featured all of General Motors’ (GM) brands, including Chevrolet.
Chevrolet will begin accepting orders for the 2025 Corvette ZR1 from mid-February. The Corvette ZR1 will be available in two trims, “1LZ” and “3LZ,” and all models will come standard with a carbon fiber roof, carbon ceramic brakes, and a performance data recorder.
Scott Bell, Chevrolet’s vice president of global operations, commented ahead of the Corvette ZR1’s launch:
“The Corvette ZR1 introduces stunning exterior design and cutting-edge engineering that pushes the boundaries of performance. It was important for us to stay true to the Corvette tradition of ‘world-class performance that completely exceeds its value.'”
