Round 3 Race 2 of the Ferrari Challenge Japan 2025 was held at the ultra-high-speed Fuji Speedway. It was the main event on Sunday of the 10th Ferrari Racing Days, and saw fierce battles in front of a large number of Ferrari fans.
Under slightly cloudy skies and a pleasant breeze, the 30-minute + 1 lap race started at 4:35pm, five minutes later than scheduled. In the Trofeo Pirelli, pole-sitter Sota Muto held off the pursuit of Nobuhiro Imada, who had made a strong start from third place in qualifying, to take the win, avenging his pole-sitter’s disappointment in Race 1, where he finished at the back of the pack.
Cold Max, who qualified third, won the Trofeo Pirelli Am, which saw five cars compete, with Yamatatsu coming in second.

[1] Tsutomu Shimoyama, who finished third overall, achieved his second consecutive victory in the Coppa Shell class. [2] As with Race 1 the previous day, 38 challenge machines participated.
Coppa Shell’s Tsutomu Shimoyama, who took pole position with speeds comparable to those in the higher classes following Race 1, also finished third overall, achieving his second consecutive win in his class at Round 3. Masaru Yoneda, who qualified fourth, came in second, and Norikazu Shibata, who regretfully retired in Race 1, came in third.
The Coppa Shell Am, which saw the largest number of entries of the year, with 16 cars, saw Alex Fox from France take his first victory in Japan. He is a talented athlete who has already won the Coppa Shell Am in the 2020 Ferrari Challenge Europe. Just like in Race 1, Deske drove the 488CH EVO safely from the start to achieve pole-to-win and take the class victory.
Round 4 will be held at Fuji Speedway, the same venue as Round 3, from July 11th to 13th.
