Each one takes 300 hours to make by hand

AMALGAM COLLECTION, a premium miniature car manufacturer founded in Bristol, UK in 1985, has announced the release of the 1/8 Aston Martin Valkyrie, an officially authorized handmade replica model by Aston Martin.

Working closely with Aston Martin’s design and engineering teams, and under the strict supervision of staff at Gaydon and Silverstone in the UK, over 3,000 hours of development has resulted in an incredible level of detail that is hard to believe is a miniature car.

“The 1/8 scale Aston Martin Valkyrie is handcrafted by a small team of skilled model artists and craftsmen, taking over 300 hours to create each car. Aston Martin’s Director of Brand Diversification, Stefano Sapoletti, commented on the 1/8 scale Aston Martin Valkyrie:

“Craftsmanship and luxury are at the heart of Aston Martin, and we have always sought to expand our presence in the luxury lifestyle sector. Now, in collaboration with the Amalgam Collection, we have created a world-class model car.”

Aston Martin provides various materials

The 1/8 scale Valkyrie is limited to 199 Coupes and 199 Spiders. Each model is finished in the iconic Podium Green exterior and black interior. For customers seeking even more individuality, a one-of-a-kind “Bespoke Edition” model is also available.

To develop the model, Aston Martin provided Amalgam Collection with original CAD blueprints, paint codes and material specifications, and it is hand-assembled from thousands of precisely engineered parts, including the rear-mid mounted engine.

The model is 56cm long and comes with a serial number. The standard version will be priced at 14,740 pounds, while the Bespoke Edition will be priced at 20,640 pounds. Sandy Copeman, founder of the Amalgam Collection, was proud of the level of perfection of the 1/8 Aston Martin Valkyrie.
