The biggest feature of the Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series is, of course, that it is a sports car made by Maybach, a chauffeured car brand.
The base model is the two-seater Mercedes-AMG SL 63 4MATIC+. It’s powered by a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine that produces a maximum output of 430kW (585PS) and a maximum torque of 800Nm, mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. As the “4MATIC+” name suggests, the car is AWD, with 0-100km/h acceleration in 4.1 seconds and a top speed electronically limited to 260km/h.
A two-tone body color that is typical of Maybach

In addition to the hood, the monogram is also featured on the front lower grille and soft top.
The body color is a two-tone color typical of Maybach, and the lineup will have two types, “Red Ambience” and “White Ambience,” which are tailored with different themes, as well as a variety of options for interiors, wheels, etc. The colors will be exclusive to Mercedes-Maybach.
To enhance the exclusive feel, the car is fitted with an Obsidian Black hood incorporating a graphite grey Maybach pattern. The process is extremely complex, with some parts being handmade. First, the hood is coated with a base coat, then hand-sanded, and then the Maybach logo pattern is printed on it. It is then coated with clear lacquer, hand-sanded again, and finally finished with a coat of clear lacquer.
Luxurious and beautiful interior

The interior features a luxurious Maybach pattern.
The interior also features the same luxurious Maybach pattern, with exclusive color and material coordination. The interior features Crystal White Manufacture Exclusive Nappa leather and gleaming silver chrome trim. The Nappa leather is sustainably tanned.
The Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram series will go on sale in Europe from spring 2025 and is scheduled to be introduced in Japan from the fourth quarter.
