Mercedes-Benz GLB EV
The next-generation GLB will also feature star-shaped DRLs

Due to Mercedes’ new “design language,” the DRLs are expected to adopt a star shape.
The GLB EV prototype is fully camouflaged, but black tape on the front end hints at a new grille shape, which wasn’t seen on the ICE prototype. The current GLB also has a single horizontal slit in the grille, while the new model appears to have three.
The headlights appear to feature the star-shaped LED daytime running lights (DRLs) that were shown on the CLA Concept, which, as previously reported, will be a common feature of all next-generation Mercedes models.
The rear end appears to have evolved into a dynamic design, with the taillights extending to the rear quarter panels. The details of the shape are hidden by a combination of camouflage and dummy panels that resemble the taillights of the Smart Fortwo.
Advanced interior

Like the ICE-equipped version, the taillights are camouflaged to resemble those of the Smart Fortwo.
The interior features a digital cockpit, seamlessly integrating the meter panel and infotainment screen. It appears to achieve a clean design and high operability. In addition, the use of high-quality materials will provide a luxurious space.
Fast charging and increased battery efficiency

It will debut with an electric architecture that offers significantly improved energy efficiency.
The GLB EV will be built on Mercedes’ newly developed “MMA” platform. Its 800V electrical architecture supports 320kW fast charging, allowing it to add approximately 400km of range in just 15 minutes. Additionally, a model with multiple battery packs will be available, achieving a maximum range of approximately 750km.
