McLaren MCL38 Celebration Edition

9 units each for Artura and 750S

The MCL38 Celebration Edition will be available for the Artura (pictured) and 750S, with only nine units of each being released.

In the 2024 Formula One World Championship, the McLaren Formula One Team won six races and took the Constructors’ Championship. With drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, the team has led the rankings since the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in September. Beating Ferrari and Red Bull, the team has won the Constructors’ Championship for the first time in 26 years since 1998.

The special edition “MCL38 Celebration Edition” named after the winning car “McLaren MCL38” commemorates McLaren’s ninth Constructors’ Championship victory. Nine Arturas and nine 750Ss will be produced. Michael Reiters of McLaren Automotive could not hide his delight at the announcement of the MCL38 Celebration Edition.

“McLaren has always been about relentless improvement and in 2024 we are demonstrating that with our incredible success on the road and on the track. Winning the Formula 1 Constructors’ Championship with Zak Brown, Andrea Stella, Lando Norris, Oscar Piastri and the entire McLaren Racing team was a true thrill for us.”

“To celebrate this championship, we have created luxurious Celebration Editions for the Artura and 750S. Only nine units of each will be produced, celebrating McLaren’s title win and delivering the ultimate McLaren super sports car driving experience.”

The nine-star logo highlights F1 dominance

The body side of the “MCL38 Celebration Edition” features a “Nine Star Logo” to celebrate the ninth championship.

Both MCL38 Celebration Edition models feature a special livery created by McLaren Special Operations (MSO) that pays homage to the MCL38, combining the papaya orange and anthracite that are iconic to McLaren in the motorsport world with the chevron pattern that is synonymous with McLaren in F1.

The body sides feature a “nine-star logo” inspired by the laurel wreath that is the symbol of a champion, proudly proclaiming the car’s ninth championship, and orange accents have been added to the brake calipers and bonnet stripes.

The cockpit features visual carbon fiber extended sill covers on the driver’s seat side, autographed by Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, and the Champions Laurel is also featured on the seat headrest.

This time, as a precious commemorative item, it comes with an “MCL38 Dedication Plaque” that incorporates part of the carbon fiber bodywork of the F1 machine “MCL38.” In addition, a special circuit record plaque is attached to the luggage space of the hood, listing the pole positions, wins, and fastest laps recorded by the MCL38 in the 2024 F1 season.

“Modest but cool” and “Fun even when driving slowly” – Test drive the McLaren GTS, a supercar for connoisseurs

In the lineup of supercar manufacturer McLaren, the “GT” boasts ample luggage space and is the most practical for everyday use. As its name suggests, it has high grand touring performance and, of course, high sporting performance, but we test drove the minor change version, the “GTS.”
