The opening ceremony, held on November 8th, the night before the event, also featured a talk show with Bruno Senna, nephew of Ayrton Senna. Bruno Senna was involved in the development of the P1GTR, 675LT Spider, McLaren Senna, and Senna GTR, and with McLaren Track Day Japan 2024 just around the corner the next day, he shared a variety of behind-the-scenes stories.

On November 9th, McLaren Track Day Japan 2024, the Solarus GT made its Japan debut early in the morning. Only 25 units of the Solarus GT were produced, and it is a single-seater hypercar designed exclusively for circuit racing, developed based on the McLaren Ultimate Vision Gran Turismo concept car from the video game Gran Turismo Sport.

A demonstration run featured the SOLUS GT, and a special run was also held with Bruno Senna himself at the wheel.

The main event of McLaren Track Day Japan 2024 was the Parade Run, which brought together a record 177 McLarens, and each participating owner shared their passion and preferences as they enjoyed driving their own McLaren around Fuji Speedway.
