Driving around the Isle of Man in his new car, the DBX707

Cavendish’s new car, the DBX707, was delivered and he immediately took it for a drive on the winding roads of the Isle of Man, where he is familiar with cycling.
Cavendish, known as the “Manx Missile” for his unparalleled speed and determination to win in cycling, took to the wheel of the DBX707 that was delivered to him and drove along the winding roads of the Isle of Man, his hometown and where he still lives.
The DBX707, which boasts a top speed of 315km/h, is available in an elegant Photon Lime exterior paint scheme, inspired by Aston Martin’s motorsport heritage and the green jersey of the Tour de France. Cavendish expressed his delight at being appointed Global High Performance Ambassador:
“I am thrilled to be taking on this role as an ambassador. I have always admired Aston Martin for its commitment to pushing the boundaries, and it is a special honour to be part of their performance journey.”
“For a car enthusiast like me, representing the iconic Aston Martin is a childhood dream come true. I know it will be an incredible experience working with Aston Martin and I am absolutely enjoying driving the DBX707. It’s a beast of a car with incredible performance that will make navigating the Isle of Man’s winding roads a breeze. It even has a bike rack for me!”
In 2024, Cavendish was appointed a Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire (KBE) in the King’s Birthday Honours for his athletic achievements and charitable work.
