Use of various companies’ rapid chargers will be possible from July 2025

Starting in July 2025, Porsche, Audi, Volkswagen and Lexus EV owners will be able to use the fast chargers installed by their respective brands via their existing apps.
It has been announced that Lexus and the Premium Charging Alliance (PCA) will link their networks of fast charging facilities from July 2025. This will enable EV owners of each brand to use fast chargers installed by the four brands – Lexus, Audi, Volkswagen, and Porsche – at dealerships, commercial facilities, etc. via their existing apps without any additional procedures.
PCA is a premium charging service that integrates the “CHAdeMO” standard quick charger network provided by member brands (Porsche, Audi, Volkswagen) for EV owners. PCA currently boasts 371 locations and 385 quick chargers, approximately three times the size since the service began in October 2022.
Meanwhile, Lexus has set a goal of opening more than 100 “Lexus Charging Stations” across the country by 2030, and has opened a new location in Fukuoka, following Tokyo, Karuizawa, Osaka, and Nagoya. Lexus Charging Stations are also working to collaborate with nearby commercial facilities to enable EV owners to make the most of their charging time.
