Lamborghinis old and new gather at the National Stadium




Ahead of “Lamborghini Day Japan,” a parade run was held starting from the Tokyo Prince Hotel and heading to the National Athletic Association.
On January 29, 2024, Lamborghini Day Japan was held at the National Stadium, which was built in preparation for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The event marked the Asian premiere of the Lamborghini Temerario. Over 500 Lamborghini owners, media, and fans from Japan, the Asia-Pacific region, and Europe gathered to witness the first public unveiling of the Temerario, Lamborghini’s third HPEV (High Performance Plug-in Hybrid).
The venue displayed 30 precious historic Lamborghinis, including the 400GT, Espada, Urraco, and Jalpa. In addition, the venue was decorated with models such as the Revuelto, Huracan Sterrato, Huracan Tecnica, Huracan STO, Aventador LP780-4 Ultime, Revuelto, Urus SE, and Diablo SE30 Jota.
The parade run, which involved 130 cars, began with a signal to start the parade from Automobili Lamborghini Chairman and CEO Stephan Winkelmann, and started at the Tokyo Prince Hotel.It passed through the vibrant streets of Roppongi, Omotesando, and Harajuku, which were bustling with activity as December approached, before arriving at the National Stadium, its final destination.
“I am always overwhelmed by the passion of Lamborghini’s customers and fans in Japan. We are now celebrating the Asia-Pacific world premiere of the Temerario, a car that embodies high excellence and innovation in terms of technology and design. With the Temerario, Lamborghini has become the first luxury car brand to offer all its models as hybrids,” said Winkelmann with delight.
Temerario unveiled in front of 500 guests





500 guests attended the event not only from Japan but also from the Asia-Pacific region and Europe, and many VIPs from Lamborghini also came to Japan for the Temerario’s Asia-Pacific world premiere.
At Temerario’s Asian premiere, Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO, along with Design Director Mitja Borkert and Product Line Director Paolo Racchetti, took to the stage in front of 500 guests.
Also attending the world premiere were Chief Marketing and Sales Officer Federico Foschini, Aftersales Director Alessandro Farmeschi, Regional Director for Asia Pacific Francesco Scardaoni and Head of Lamborghini Japan Davide Souffrecola.
Speaking at the glamorous Temerario launch event, Francesco Scardaoni commented:
“We are very pleased to be able to hold the Temerario’s Asia-Pacific world premiere in Japan. With a hybrid system boasting a maximum output of 920 PS, the Temerario achieves the highest level of performance and breaks the limits of what has been achieved with Lamborghinis up to now. It can be said that it has set new standards in its segment in terms of power and uniqueness. We are confident that all owners will experience the thrill of driving this new Lamborghini.”
Davide Souffrecola expressed his delight in front of the 500 guests and 130 Lamborghinis that had gathered.
