Two brands founded in 1963

Alpinestars will supply all clothing for Lamborghini's motorsports activities, including the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

Lamborghini and Alpinestars, which have signed a long-term contract, share the common ground of being founded in Italy in 1963. Alpinestars is distinguished by its bold star logo.

Alpinestars is a racing suit brand based in the Veneto region of Italy. Like Automobili Lamborghini, they were founded in 1963 and share the commonality of being both based in Italian culture and having been active in the automotive and motorsports fields for over 60 years.

Alpinestars supplies racing suits and other equipment to the various categories that Lamborghini Squadra Corse competes in. The collaboration between the two companies began in the 2025 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, Round 2 of the Sebring 12 Hours, in which a single Lamborghini SC63 will compete.

As part of this partnership, the company will supply clothing to crews, mechanics and team staff competing in IMSA, Lamborghini Super Trofeo (Europe, North America, Asia Pacific), and GT3 categories around the world.

Collaborative clothing collection on sale

Lamborghini and Alpinestars, which have now signed a long-term contract, share the common ground of having been founded in Italy in 1963.

A clothing collection jointly developed by Alpinestars and Lamborghini is scheduled to be released in 2025.

Lamborghini and Alpinestars will also jointly launch a new licensing project, which will see the launch of collaborative apparel in 2025. The licensing project will include a variety of products, including apparel, shoes, and caps, reflecting the shared brand concepts of both companies, including cutting-edge innovation, technology, quality, and Italian craftsmanship.

Chris Hillard, Alpinestars’ Head of Media and Communications, expressed his delight at the partnership.

“We are looking forward to the many activities that will come out of our technical partnership with Lamborghini Squadra Corse, where our products will protect drivers and crews in IMSA, GT3 and Super Trofeo racing around the world. Lamborghini’s deep history, commitment to performing at the highest level through innovation and technology, and unique style are a perfect fit with Alpinestars’ philosophy.”

Christian Mastro, Marketing Director at Automobili Lamborghini, added:

“Lamborghini Squadra Corse is proud to partner with Alpinestars, the world leader in motorsport protection products. This collaboration is a testament to our constant pursuit of excellence. Alpinestars’ expertise will enable us to guarantee the highest levels of safety, performance and comfort for our drivers and crew.”

The Lamborghini SC63 will compete in IMSA with a new livery inspired by the Italian flag.
