AUDI Q3

A more refined exterior

The front area is likely to look even more sophisticated thanks to recent Audi designs.

The front area is likely to look even more sophisticated thanks to recent Audi designs.

The front end of the next-generation Audi Q3 prototype, which appeared completely nude, shows split headlights with slim LED daytime running lights (DRLs), similar to those of the Q6 e-tron. Not only will the DRLs be customizable, but the car will likely be packed with advanced lighting functions. It also appears to have a curved front end, including a rounded mesh grille, indicating that Audi’s design trends are changing with the new generation model.

The interior is Audi’s latest specification

The side view shows a cabin with a mix of soft curves and sharp lines. The larger rear quarter windows suggest the body size has been expanded. The rear end is equipped with stylish LED taillights and a bold bumper, creating a distinctive impression.

While we weren’t able to get a glimpse inside the cabin, it’s likely to share features and design with the A5 and Q6 e-tron. It will likely feature an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.5-inch infotainment system, with a 10.9-inch passenger display possibly available as an option.

The PHEV can travel 100km on electric power.

In addition to mild hybrid and PHEV models, a 2.5L twin-turbo "RS" model will also be available.

In addition to mild hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions, a 2.5-liter inline-5 twin-turbo “RS” model will also be available.

The powertrain will likely share some specifications with the Volkswagen Tiguan. Expectations are for a 1.5-liter inline-four gasoline turbocharged mild hybrid with a maximum output of 150 PS, or a PHEV that combines a 1.5-liter TSI Evo2 with a 272 PS motor. Additionally, an RS model equipped with the traditional 2.5-liter inline-five twin-turbo engine is also likely to be introduced.

Since it has been reported that there is a charging port on the driver’s side, this prototype is definitely a PHEV. The production model will be equipped with an 18.5kW lithium-ion battery, and as an EV, the range per charge is expected to be 100km. The world premiere of the next-generation Q3 is expected to be as early as 2024.

The new Audi Q5 SUV model was announced earlier, and the production prototype of its coupe version, the Q5 Sportback, has been captured on camera for the first time.

Will the next-generation Audi Q5 Sportback be released soon? “It will use a new-generation platform” [Scoop!]

The new Audi Q5 D-segment crossover SUV was recently announced. The camera has now captured the production prototype of its coupe version, the Q5 Sportback, for the first time. The first-generation Audi Q5 was released in 2008. The second-generation debuted in 2017, with the Sportback being introduced in 2021. This prototype is the second-generation Sportback.
