Alpine A110 R Ultime
Enhanced engine and chassis
The development of the car utilized the knowledge of Alpine Racing, which competes in F1 and WEC, resulting in a power increase of approximately 50 PS over the A110 R, and the gearbox and chassis were also strengthened.
At the Paris Motor Show, Alpine unveiled the limited edition A110 R Ultime model, along with the concept cars A390_β, Alpenglow HY6, and the fully electric compact A290. The Alpine booth, which attracted much attention for its splendor, also featured the A110 R Ultime “La Bleue,” a limited edition of 15 units.
The A110 R Ultim is based on the performance-spec “A110 R,” and features a specially tuned chassis and a 1.8-liter inline 4-cylinder gasoline turbo engine that delivers approximately 50 PS more power. It delivers a maximum output of 350 PS and a maximum torque of 420 Nm, an increase of 80 Nm from the A110 R Turini. It boasts a power-to-weight ratio of 3.2 kg/PS, launch control, and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 3.8 seconds.
This time, the expertise of Alpine Racing, which competes in F1 and WEC, has been actively incorporated into the car, which is luxuriously equipped with a turbocharger with improved turbine and compressor, a new 6-speed gearbox with increased torque capacity, an Akrapovic titanium exhaust system, adjustable Öhlins quad dampers, AP Racing 330mm bi-material discs, high-performance brake pads, and new cooling ducts.
The aerodynamics also incorporates motorsport-derived components, significantly increasing downforce levels. Compared to the A110 R Turini, it achieves an increase of 160 kg of downforce. The car is fitted with 18-inch forged alloy wheels in the front and 19-inch for the rear, paired with Michelin PS2 Cup tires.
Strengthening the power unit and chassis has improved handling performance, especially on the circuit, enabling more agile driving when cornering and accelerating.
“Atelier” program: Enjoy free combinations
“Atelier” and “Atelier Sur Mesure” are personalization programs that allow customers to coordinate the exterior and interior to suit their own tastes.
The A110 R Ultim is available with two personalisation programmes: “Atelier” and “Atelier Sur-Mesure”. The latter is a collaboration between Sabelt, supplier of seats and harnesses, and Poltrona Frau, a luxury Italian furniture brand, allowing customers to customise their vehicle with special interior and exterior designs.
The basic “Atelier” personalization package allows customers to freely combine 27 exterior colors and Alcantara seats in four colors (gray, red, blue, and orange) to suit their personal tastes. Customers can also coordinate interior details such as the stitching on the steering wheel, dashboard, door trim, center console, floor mats, steering wheel, door straps, and seat centers.
The Atelier Sur Mesure, developed by the design teams of Alpine, Sabelt and Poltrona Frau, offers a higher level of personalization. Nine new colors of Alcantara are available for the interior, and for the first time in the A110, ten leather colors are available. Furthermore, Alpine and Poltrona Frau have also introduced three exclusive finishes for customers seeking the ultimate in elegance: embroidery, embossing and leather blade.
