The Epsilon Rally 4 HF is scheduled to receive FIA homologation on March 1, 2025. It has already received orders for over 80 units from across Europe.

Lancia will make its long-awaited return to motorsport and rallying with the new Ypsilon Rally4 HF and the Lancia Trofeo, which will be held for the first time in Italy from 2025. The Lancia Trofeo will be held over six rounds, consisting of five races in the Italian Rally Championship (CIAR).

The Trofeo Lancia has three age categories: Junior (under 25), Master (25-35), and Expert (over 35). Prizes are awarded to the top three drivers in each category, with nine drivers being recognized in each race. The total prize money is 360,000 euros, and the winner will be given the right to participate in the official Lancia team in the European Rally Championship (ERC) in the 2026 season.

At each Trofeo Lancia event, the Lancia Corse HF Village will be set up in the service park, where drivers, co-drivers, team staff, guests, partners and fans can gather together and immerse themselves in the charm of Lancia, the car that has written the most pages in rally history.

Although registrations for the Trofeo have not yet opened, over 80 Lancia Ypsilon Rally4 HF cars have already been reserved from across Europe. With FIA homologation scheduled for March 1, 2025, Lancia’s motorsport revival program can be said to have achieved a certain degree of success.

Various special points available

In addition to the points awarded for the final result, the Trofeo Lancia will also introduce a special points system including "Best Performer," "Miki Stage" and "Rally+."

In addition to the points awarded for the final result, the Trofeo Lancia will also introduce a special points system including “Best Performer,” “Miki Stage” and “Rally+.”

Registration for the 2025 Trofeo Lancia is just 2,500 euros for the entire season, which includes the Lancia Corse HF racing overalls and championship racing wear designed by Sparco.

All drivers who reach the finish line at the event will receive Trofeo Lancia points in both the overall and category rankings, with the opportunity to win bonus points under the titles “Best Performer”, “Miki Stage” and “Rally+”.

The “Best Performer” award is based on pure speed and will award a five-point bonus to the driver who records the fastest time in each rally, even if the driver does not complete the rally.

The “Miki Stage” is named after two-time WRC champion Miki Biasion, and the driver who records the best time on the final SS (Miki Stage) of the event will be awarded three bonus points. This is a system similar to the “Power Stage” in the WRC, and is intended to encourage all drivers to push until the end.

“Rally+” allows all drivers to pre-select their favorite rally once a season as a joker card. If the driver finishes in the top five in the selected rally, additional points will be added to both the overall ranking and the category ranking. The Lancia Trofeo category champions will participate in the annual awards ceremony scheduled to be held in Turin at the end of 2025. At this gala event, the final prizes will be awarded to the winners of the three categories.
