At Monterey Car Week held in August 2024, the Temerario super sports car was announced, a successor to the Huracan, which has been on sale since 2013. Following the Revuelto, which was launched in 2023, the Temerario is being developed as Lamborghini’s second high-performance electric vehicle (HPEV), equipped with a plug-in hybrid powertrain developed in-house.
The exterior of the Temerario inherits the “baby Lambo” look of the Huracan, but is dotted with Lamborghini’s latest design element, the hexagonal motif, on the daytime running lights, taillights, side air intakes, and exhaust pipes.
The Temerario’s body size is 187mm longer and 37mm wider than the flagship Revuelto. Despite being a super sports car, it is relatively easy to handle. The difference in vehicle weight between the Temerario and Revuelto is only about 80kg, and both are light considering they are equipped with lithium-ion batteries.

Revuelto overwhelms Temerario with his power.

Finally, moving away from the V10, the Temerario is equipped with a newly developed 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine. This employs a plug-in hybrid system incorporating three electric motors, achieving a maximum system output of 920 PS. The Revuelto is equipped with a 6.5-liter V12 naturally aspirated engine plus three motors, achieving a maximum system output of 1,015 PS. Making use of this immense power, the 0-100 km/h acceleration is 0.2 seconds faster than the Temerario.

The Temerario’s cockpit, based on the theme of “Feel like a pilot,” features a 12.3-inch full digital meter display, a vertical 8.4-inch center display, and a 9.1-inch passenger display on the passenger seat side. Continuing from the Revuelto, the new generation Lamborghini interior has been further evolved to create a serene interior space.
If you’re going to drive a Lamborghini, you want to make sure it’s visible. If you’re looking for the overwhelming power of a V12+ electric motor and the presence that only a Lamborghini can offer, the Revuelto, with its striking personality, is the car for you.
On the other hand, the Temerario, with its subdued interior and exterior, has a look that is easy for many people to accept while still capturing the essence of a Lamborghini super sports car. The price has not been announced at this time, but it is likely to be very popular in Japan, following the Huracan.
