Broad Arrow Auctions, a Hagerty subsidiary, will offer a number of rare and highly coveted vehicles at the inaugural Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este Auction, to be held May 24-25, 2025.
Gathering on the shores of Lake Como will be 70 cars, including classic coachbuilt cars, racing icons active in motorsports, and super sports cars in exquisite condition. Ahead of the auction, cars such as the 2000 Lamborghini Diablo VT 6.0, 2003 Honda NSX Type R, 2022 Lamborghini Countach LPI800-4, and 2023 Ford GT have been previewed. Joe Twyman, Vice President of Sales for EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) at Broad Arrow Auctions, had this to say about the auction:
“We are honored to be able to present some of the world’s most collectible super sports cars at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este auction. The opportunity to offer the first-ever Lamborghini Diablo VT 6.0 at auction is a truly special moment for us. This iconic supercar was the first Diablo VT 6.0 to roll off the hallowed production line in Sant’Agata Bolognese.”
2000 Lamborghini Diablo VT 6.0

The first Diablo VT 6.0 to roll off the line was used as a vehicle for test drives and magazine photo shoots.
The highlight of this auction is the Lamborghini Diablo VT 6.0, the first car to roll off the production line at the Sant’Agata Bolognese headquarters, with an estimated winning bid of 500,000 to 600,000 euros.
The Diablo VT 6.0 features all-wheel drive (Viscous Traction: VT) and increased power and torque. Its impressive performance is said to be targeted at the Ferrari 360 Modena. Carbon fiber is used extensively inside and out, and the retractable headlights from the debut have been changed to fixed headlights to further improve aerodynamic performance.
Finished in a dazzling Giallo Orion Yellow, chassis number 12293 was initially used by Lamborghini for media and marketing events. Driving impressions were published in various automotive magazines. In 2015, the 6.0-liter V12 engine was completely overhauled and sold to a private owner in Germany. The car comes with its original certificate of authenticity, making it a remarkable addition to any car collection.
2003 Honda NSX Type R

This 2003 Honda NSX Type R, finished in Championship White, is a rare example with only 15,806 km on the odometer.
The Honda NSX, which debuted in 1989, is a mid-engine sports car that incorporates the technology Honda has cultivated in Formula 1. The high-performance version, the Type R, was introduced in 1992, and the car being auctioned this time is the facelift version that appeared in 2002.
The 3.2-liter V6 VTEC engine produces a maximum output of 280 PS. This 2003 NSX Type R is finished in Championship White, the most popular exterior color, with an Alcantara interior. It has been meticulously maintained by its owner in Sweden, with a lifetime mileage of just 15,806 km. This is an extremely rare example imported to Europe.
