Gordon Murray Automotive T.50
New model to replace the T.50

The new model, developed by Gordon Murray Special Vehicles, is seen as a super sports car that will replace the current T.50 and T.33.
UK-based Gordon Murray Group (GMG) has announced the launch of its new division, Gordon Murray Special Vehicles (GMSV), and that the first two models from GMSV will be unveiled at The Quail, a Motorsports Gathering to be held in Monterey, California on August 15th.
The first of the two new super sports cars will be custom-made for an anonymous customer, while the second will be designed and developed by Special Vehicles and is expected to be a production model that will succeed the T.50 and T.33. Details of the two cars will not be revealed until the world premiere event at The Quail, but both models are said to feature lightweight design and artistic design that Gordon Murray has pursued.
Gordon Murray Automotive also announced that it has reached the final stages of customer production of its proprietary T.50. The limited-edition T.50, limited to 100 units, is scheduled to be completed by the end of July and is being built at GMA’s new Hymes Park facility, with deliveries to 19 countries worldwide.
Gordon Murray Group CEO Philip Lee added the following about the launch of Gordon Murray Special Vehicles:
“We are thrilled to invite our existing customers to join Gordon Murray Special Vehicles (GMSV) and welcome new customers into the Gordon Murray family, who will have the opportunity to work with the GMSV design and engineering team to create the bespoke supercar of their dreams.”
Gordon Murray’s 60th Anniversary Design Project

This year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed will feature a special celebration of 60 years of Sir Gordon Murray’s automotive designs.
The Gordon Murray Group has decided to streamline its product launch planning and has revised the launch schedule for the next generation T.33 model from its original plan. The company will focus on events celebrating 60 years of automotive design by founder Lord Gordon Murray CBE at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK in July, followed by the unveiling of two new models at Monterey Car Week in California in August.
The group’s founder, Sir Gordon Murray, commented on his 60th anniversary celebrations at Goodwood:
“It’s still hard to believe that 60 years have passed since we started designing and developing race and road cars, and I’m really looking forward to sharing memories with thousands of fans at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The double debut of Gordon Murray Special Vehicles in a month’s time will give us another opportunity to share our passion with existing and new customers alike.”
