Ferrari’s “Speciale” lineage

Since the release of the GTO in 1984, the “Speciale” series has been a special Ferrari that has represented the era throughout history, and this event will bring together a full lineup of these models.
The Ferrari Museum’s special exhibition for 2025, “Supercars,” will retrace Ferrari’s creative process, which has produced unforgettable masterpieces since the company was founded in 1947.
The cars featured were special supercars known as “Speciale.” Five cars were on display, all of which still have many fans: the Ferrari GTO (1984), the Ferrari F40 (1987), the Ferrari F50 (1995), the Enzo Ferrari (2002), and the LaFerrari (2013).
This time, the development prototype of the newest Speciale “F80”, announced in October 2024, will be open to the public for the first time. Not only will the precious camouflaged F80 development test vehicle be on display, but also parts from the pre-production vehicle to the official commercial model will be on display.
Valuable digitized materials made public

With Ferrari’s valuable archives now digitized, a variety of materials will be made public at this special exhibition.
Alongside the actual car, visitors will also be entertained by five interactive, multi-functional digital islands, where they can enjoy photographs, videos, drawings, documents and publications from the Ferrari Archives through digital displays. Each area reveals the journey that led to Ferrari’s development of the Speciale.
In addition to the digitized archives, the Ferrari Museum is also, for the first time, incorporating playful activities into its exhibits. Through a range of themed interactive experiences, visitors can enjoy an immersive time travel from the 1980s to the present day.
The Enzo Ferrari Museum has continued to attract many Ferrari enthusiasts since its opening, reaching a new record of 850,000 visitors in a single year, thanks in part to the popularity of its 2024 special exhibition, “Ferrari One of a Kind,” which focuses on one-off Ferrari models.
