Lamborghini Polo Storico
A commercially successful 2024

Polo Storico will continue to restore many vehicles in 2024, with its vehicle homologation program in full swing, and aftersales director Alessandro Farmeschi revealed that the project has been a commercial success.
2024 was filled with many unforgettable moments for Polo Storico and Lamborghini collectors: awards at prestigious international Concours d’Elegance, participation in numerous historic events around the world, and success in classic Lamborghini restoration, parts supply and vehicle authentication, making it a year that marked important milestones as we approach Polo Storico’s 10th anniversary in 2025.
Alessandro Farmeschi, Automobili Lamborghini Aftersales Director, reflected on 2024:
“2024 has been a challenging year for the entire team at Lamborghini Polo Storico, but also one filled with a wealth of gratitude. We believe that we have not only achieved great commercial results in the authentication process and restoration, but also in sharing and enhancing Lamborghini history with customers and enthusiasts around the world.”
The “350GT” sent to Geneva

Lamborghini’s first production model, the 350GT, held a photo session in Geneva to commemorate the 60th anniversary of its debut at the 1964 Geneva Motor Show.
In February 2024, Polo Storico took part in “The ICE” in St. Moritz, Switzerland, bringing two iconic models from the Lamborghini Museum for a demonstration run on the frozen lake: the 1968 400 GT 2+2 and the 1973 Jarama S, both rare models equipped with Lamborghini V12 engines.
In March, to commemorate its 1964 debut, Lamborghini’s first production model, the 350GT, was transported to Geneva, where it made its debut. In May, four classic Lamborghinis were exhibited at the Villa d’Este Concorso d’Eleganza. The 1967 Miura P400 and the 1976 Countach LP400 were awarded the “Il Canto del Motore” prize by the jury for best sound.
The event also featured a 1990 Countach 25th Anniversary, certified by Polo Storico, and a 1999 Diablo GT, which is still undergoing analysis for certification. In May, Lamborghini also exhibited a Diablo SV and a Countach LP 400 at an event hosted by Lamborghini Day UK.
The Countach LP 400 facing off against the Revuelto

To commemorate 50 years since the start of Countach production, Lamborghini brought the first-generation Countach LP 400 to the Revuelto production line for a photo session.
In September, the company participated in various events related to the 50th anniversary of the Countach. At the Chantilly Arts & Elegance 2024 event, held at the Château de Chantilly in France from September 12th to 15th, a class was set up exclusively for the Countach, and the first production model, the Countach LP400 (chassis number 001), was open to the public.
This historic Countach LP400 chassis number 001 was brought to the original production line in Sant’Agata, where the latest model, the Revuelto, is currently produced, and a photo session was held to bring together the past and present of Lamborghini’s V12 engines.
At Auto e Moto d’Epoca in Bologna in October, Polo Storico exhibited a 1968 Miura S body currently under restoration and a 1994 Diablo SE currently undergoing certification. At the Lamborghini dei Germany event in November, Polo Storico exhibited three classic Lamborghinis certified by the company.
At Lamborghini Day Japan, 131 vehicles, including 30 classic Lamborghinis supported by Polo Storico, will parade through the streets of Tokyo. Polo Storico will participate in a wide range of events throughout 2024, highlighting Lamborghini’s commitment to historic models.
Polo Storico continues to grow steadily and will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2025. To mark this important milestone, the brand plans to participate in international historic car events around the world, as well as global concours d’elegance.
