Quail Silver Limited Edition

Sales will finally begin with the 2026 model

The Chevrolet Corvette ZR1X went on sale as a 2026 model, and a limited edition Quail Silver Limited Edition has been added.

Equipped with the most powerful hybrid powertrain, the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1X delivers powerful performance while remaining more affordable than its rivals.

The Corvette ZR1X, available from the 2026 model year, is a high-performance model that combines a 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with the eAWD all-wheel drive system. It is handcrafted by master engine builders at the Bowling Green Performance Build Center.

The Corvette ZR1X combines a 5.5-liter V8 “LT7” twin-turbo engine, which boasts 1078 PS on its own, with a hybrid powertrain, producing a maximum system output of 1267 PS. The internal combustion engine (ICE) power drives the rear wheels via an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT), and the front axle motor (188 PS) drives the “eAWD” all-wheel drive system.

The car boasts a 0-60 mph (approximately 96 km/h) acceleration time of less than two seconds, surpassing the Ferrari F80 and McLaren W1, both of which also feature hybrid powertrains. Furthermore, it has a price tag of $207,395, significantly lower than the aforementioned two cars.

Scott Bell, Chevrolet’s Global Vice President, commented on the Quail Silver Limited Edition:

“For over 70 years, the Corvette has been the pride and joy of its owners, owing its appeal not only to its exceptional engineering, but also to its craftsmanship and design. The ZR1X Quail Silver Limited Edition is an exceptional choice for Corvette enthusiasts seeking a collector’s item.”

The Quail Silver Limited Edition, which was unveiled at The Quail Motorsports Gathering in Monterey, California in August 2025, is a limited edition model with exclusive finishes and craftsmanship. In addition to the exclusive color scheme, it is equipped with orange painted brake calipers, black exhaust tips, and carbon flash mirrors.

The new exterior color is the matte finish paint “Blade Silver Matte,” a first since the 1960s. Blade Silver Matte is inspired by the “Inca Silver” paint that was available on the C1 Corvette from 1957 to 1959. It is available exclusively for the ZR1X 3LZ Convertible.

New interior color combination

The interior features a new color combination of "Sky Cool & Medium Ash Gray" with "Habañero" accents.

Phil Zack, Chevrolet Global Executive Design Director, added this description of the Quail Silver Limited Edition:

“Our design team is constantly innovating, and Blade Silver Matte marks a significant moment for Corvette, marking the first time in 60 years that the car has been offered with factory matte paint,” said Gregory B. “This new paint finish creates a more premium look and gives the Corvette a new personality.”
