Exterior design that evolves from the current model

The fully electric luxury crossover segment continues to grow not only in the United States but globally. To meet strong demand, Cadillac has successively introduced the LYRIQ-V and OPTIQ-V. The Elevated Velocity, unveiled at The Quail, is touted as the ultimate expression of electric performance, cutting-edge technology, and Cadillac’s signature bespoke luxury, all in crossover style.

The exterior continues Cadillac’s elegant proportions and flowing hood established in the Celestic and Lyriq, while further evolving Cadillac’s design language. The sculpted details may be incorporated into future Cadillac production vehicles.

Its streamlined form perfectly blends functionality and elegance in any situation, from smooth pavement to harsh desert terrain. Optimized for aerodynamics at high speeds, its dramatic proportions and stable stance exude the imposing presence of a luxury crossover.

The exterior color is a glacier-inspired “Vapor Blue,” contrasting with the fiery red interior. The blue theme is continued on the wraparound glass windows, which are also tinted blue.

The car is equipped with large, flip-up gull-wing doors for easy entry and exit, and the 24-inch wheels are finished in a combination of flax fiber and black crystal tint acrylic.

Interior incorporating various shades of red

Cadillac Elevated Velocity interior. — The interior features various shades of red, creating a luxurious living space that is typical of Cadillac.

The cabin is elegantly designed to combine sophistication and functionality. The vibrant crimson interior, materials and finishes are chosen to evoke Cadillac aspirations while maximizing functionality. Layers of smooth surfaces, embossed grain leather, bouclé fabric, tinted acrylic and glass create a seamless blend.

The headliner, pillars, doors, seat cushions and rear compartment are finished in Morello Red, a combination of Fine Nappa and Grained leather. The doors, rear of the instrument panel and the rear of the rear seats are finished in Cherry Red, while the seat tops, door armrests, console armrest and instrument panel are finished in Garnet Boucle fabric.

The rear luggage compartment is fitted with a custom-made polo set. The handmade polo set reflects the aesthetics of the Elevated Velocity, with the case featuring the vehicle’s exterior color, Vapor Blue. The polo helmet, gloves, kneepads and mallets are finished in Morello Red and feature Cadillac logos and crests.

Three user modes

The Elevated Velocity comes equipped with three user experience modes and four drive modes to cater to a variety of customer preferences.

In Welcome Mode, the interior floor, seats, instrument panel, doors and steering wheel are illuminated in a soft white as a passenger approaches, while the dramatic gull-wing doors unfold beautifully. A welcome animation on the steering wheel mimics the movement of desert sand, and the Cadillac and V-Series logos are illuminated on the dashboard end caps.

Elevate mode can be activated by the driver. In this mode, the car transitions to autonomous driving mode and transforms the interior into a relaxing space for passengers. The pedals and steering wheel automatically retract into the floor, and the display shows the outside temperature, driver body temperature, and interior temperature to help optimize physical performance.

The driving-focused “Velocity Mode” changes the lighting to a cool white tone to create an exciting atmosphere. The doors are backlit and the floor lighting is dimmed to help the driver focus on the road ahead. The steering wheel displays speed, battery status, and temperature, while the cowl display shows AR HUD navigation.

Four drive modes – e-Velocity Mode, Terra Mode, Sand Mode and Element Defy – deliver the highest level of performance from the all-electric powertrain in all road conditions, including paved, unpaved and on the circuit.
