Fully equipped with M Performance parts

M2 CS
BMW unveiled for the first time in Japan a special edition of the BMW M2 CS, equipped with M Performance parts, which premiered in Japan at last year’s Japan Mobility Show 2025. This coupe recorded a time of 7 minutes 25 seconds at the Nürburgring, making it the fastest compact car in its class. The CS stands for Competition Sports.
The M2 CS is a high-performance two-door coupe equipped with a 3.0-liter inline-6 twin-turbo engine that produces 530 PS, 50 PS more than the standard, and is fully equipped with M Performance parts, including aero parts on the front, rear, left and right sides, a central quad exhaust, carbon fiber door mirrors, and carbon fiber brakes. 16% of vehicles sold in Japan are said to be equipped with M Performance parts, and this could be said to be the ultimate specification.
A one-make race with new cars will also be held

The catchphrase “GEN M” (Generation M) displayed at the booth suggests that the DNA lives on in top motorsport categories such as the FIA WEC (World Endurance Championship) and Super GT, as well as in commercial vehicles equipped with M Performance parts.
The company is also planning to hold a race using its latest one-make racing car, the M2 Racing, and this year it plans to continue to actively introduce attractive products and create touchpoints with customers, so we look forward to keeping an eye on its future activities.
