BMW M4 CS VR46
Limited edition of only 46 units each
The BMW M4 CS VR46 will be available in two colors: Marina Bay Blue (left) and Frozen Tanzanite Blue (right). 46 units of each will be produced, for a total of 92 units.
The BMW M4 CS VR46 is a collaboration model with Valentino Rossi, currently a BMW works driver. Only 46 units of each of the Marina Bay Blue (SPORT) and Frozen Tanzanite Blue (STYLE) finishes will be sold worldwide, for a total of just 92 units.
Only two cars will be introduced to the Japanese market, one of each color. Rossi’s signature colors of blue and yellow are incorporated into various parts of the body, and Rossi’s racing number “46” is boldly designed on the door. The wheel air valves are accented with Sao Paulo yellow, and the carbon ceramic brakes are equipped with special yellow calipers.
The roof, made from ultra-lightweight and highly rigid M carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP), is also decorated with Rossi’s special logo and signature.
Dark blue with yellow accents
The interior also features exclusive dark blue and yellow accents on the seats and steering wheel.
The interior features carbon fiber bucket seats with the VR46 logo on the backrests, as well as special dark blue and yellow accents. The steering wheel also has yellow accents, and the CFRP center console is engraved with a serial number.
The M4 CS, which served as the base for the M4 CS VR46, was approximately 20 kg lighter than the M4 Competition M xDrive. Its 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder twin-turbo engine boasts a 20 PS increase in power, delivering a maximum output of 550 PS. Thanks to the significant weight reduction and power increase, the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds.
