Bentley “Beyond 100+”
Full electrification goal extended to 2035

Bentley has announced a new management policy, “Beyond 100+,” replacing “Beyond 100,” extending its goal of fully electrifying its lineup from 2030 to 2035.
Bentley Motors has announced that it will extend its decarbonization strategy, “Beyond 100,” from 2030 to 2035, becoming “Beyond 100+.” At the same time, the company also revealed that the brand’s first EV model, scheduled for release in 2026, will be the world’s first fully electric luxury urban SUV.
The all-electric luxury urban SUV will be designed, developed and produced at Bentley’s headquarters in Crewe, UK. It will be the first of a series of new plug-in hybrid (PHEV) or all-electric vehicles that Bentley plans to launch every year over the next decade.
Bentley currently offers PHEVs for the Continental GT, Bentayga, and Flying Spur. The 6.0-liter W12 engine, which had been produced in Crewe for over 20 years, has been discontinued, and each model is equipped with an Ultra Performance Hybrid based on a newly developed 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbocharged engine.
Initially, the company had planned to fully electrify its entire lineup by 2030, but in response to changes in the global situation, it has announced that it will extend the lifecycle of its PHEV models until 2035. Bentley Chairman and CEO Frank-Steffen Walliser commented on this decision as follows:
“It’s been almost four years since Bentley announced its Beyond 100 strategy, adapting to today’s economic, market and regulatory changes and making major changes for tomorrow. Beyond 100+ is our new guidepost as we aim to achieve our ambitious targets beyond 2030. We will maintain our goal of a decarbonised society, offer only fully electric vehicles from 2035 onwards, and further strengthen our credibility as a British manufacturer with over a century of making great cars.”
