Co-CEO Gottfried Neumeister (left) and CEO Stefan Pieler (right) issued a statement regarding the company’s restructuring following the news that the Austrian court had given it permission to continue operations.

The following is a statement released by KTM Co-CEO Gottfried Neumeister and CEO Stefan Peeler.

“We are deeply relieved! Today, the Austrian court ruled that all three KTM companies will be able to continue operating during the reorganization process. However, this is only the first step in the 90-day reorganization process.”

“We mean working hard for the long-term viability of this company, and for our employees, suppliers and dealers. We’re talking about the survival of an Austrian ‘brand’ that is well known around the world, from Los Angeles to Sydney, wherever our business is located.”

“The most important thing is to protect as many jobs as possible. With this in mind, we are looking for new investors and are trying to find a sustainable solution together with our creditors. We are in good discussions, especially with the banks.”

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our employees who continue to work for our company despite very difficult circumstances, uncertainty and various sacrifices. I would also like to thank our KTM fans and loyal customers all over the world. You give us strength and courage.”
