Alfa Romeo has become an official sponsor of Tutto Bene, a hill climb and parade event for car enthusiasts that was a huge success last year.

Tutto Bene was held on the Strada Borromea, a private road that runs from Gignese near Stresa in Novara, Italy, to the top of Mount Mottarone. Approximately 80 cars, ranging from the latest models to rare historic cars, met the participation criteria of being “cool cars.”

The centerpiece of the 2025 event will be Alfa Romeo’s iconic 1967 Tipo 33/2 Periscope, commonly known as the Frelón. This legendary model was driven to victory by Teodoro Zeccoli at the Frelón Hill Climb in March 1967, the year Alfa Romeo officially returned to international motorsport.

The Tipo 33/2 Periscopica, considered the precursor to the Tipo 33 Stradale, is equipped with a 2.0-liter V8 engine that produces a maximum output of 270 PS. Its lightweight alloy and magnesium tubular frame allows it to weigh just 580 kg. It has since demonstrated its strength on circuits such as the legendary Targa Florio, Sebring, and the Nürburgring.

The car brought to Tutto Bene is managed by Scuderia del Portello, Alfa Romeo’s official historic racing department, which was founded in Arese in 1982. It properly maintains Alfa Romeo’s iconic racing cars and takes them to prestigious events such as the Mille Miglia, Le Mans Classic and the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Also brought to Tutto Bene this year was the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio, which featured in the 2019 film “6 Underground” directed by Michael Bay. The Giulia Quadrifoglio, dressed in a vibrant fluorescent green body color, appears in the film in an action scene where it races through the alleys of Florence.

The Giulia Quadrifoglio, powered by a 2.9-liter V6 twin-turbo engine producing over 500 PS, made an impressive appearance in the parade run at this hill climb event. Alfa Romeos from various eras, owned by private collectors, also graced the event.
