The Q5 e-hybrid quattro is available in two power output levels: 220kW (299PS) and 270kW (367PS).

In addition to the conventional mild hybrid “MHEV plus” model, the Audi Q5 family now includes the “Q5 SUV e-hybrid quattro” and “Q5 Sportback e-hybrid quattro” equipped with plug-in hybrids (PHEVs).

The e-hybrid combines a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder TFSI turbo petrol engine producing 185kW (251PS) with an electric motor, and is available in two powertrains: 220kW (299PS) and 270kW (367PS). All-wheel drive is delivered via an electric dual-clutch transmission (DCT) and the quattro system.

The 220kW model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.2 seconds, while the 270kW model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.1 seconds. Both models have an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h. In Germany, the 220kW Q5 SUV e-hybrid quattro is priced at 63,400 euros, while the Q5 Sportback e-hybrid quattro3 is priced at 65,900 euros. The 270kW SUV starts at 71,800 euros, while the Sportback starts at 74,300 euros.

Battery capacity has been increased by 45% from the previous model, ensuring a maximum range of 113km in EV mode.

The high-voltage battery installed has a capacity of 25.9 kWh (20.7 kWh net), which is 45% higher than the previous model. The maximum AC charging output is 11 kW, and it is said to take approximately 2.5 hours to charge the battery from 0% to 100%.

Two drive modes are available: “EV” and “Hybrid.” In “EV” mode, the car runs on battery power alone, with a maximum range of 113km. In “Hybrid” mode, the hybrid management system maintains the charge level as needed. For the first time, the desired charge level can be individually set using a digital slider.

Regenerative braking performance has also been significantly improved, with the level of regeneration in EV mode now adjustable to three levels via steering wheel paddles.

The 220kW model comes standard with the S sport suspension and 3-zone automatic comfort air conditioning, while the 270kW model also comes standard with the above, plus LED headlights plus, LED rear lights pro, Audi sound system, and the S line interior package.
