Mercedes-Benz VAN.EA
Covering everything from luxury limousines to commercial models

This new van is currently under development based on the highly scalable new fully electric platform “VAN.EA.” A wide range of models are planned to be developed, from luxury minivans to commercial models for a variety of uses.
Mercedes-Benz Vans will launch a new van on the market from 2026, developed based on the new fully electric platform “VAN.EA (Mercedes-Benz Van Electric Architecture),” which adopts a modular system and is highly flexible and scalable.
The company claims that the VAN.EA modular system, which can be expanded to various sizes, will enable the new van to be clearly differentiated between premium minivans in the luxury segment, which have been gaining popularity in recent years, and commercial vans in the commercial sector. In the future, Mercedes-Benz Vans plans to complete a wide lineup ranging from family MPVs, luxury VIP shuttles, limousines for chauffeurs, and commercial vans to meet a variety of needs.
Prototypes built to test the electric powertrain, battery, and high-voltage components are currently undergoing testing on public roads. At this point, only the fully electric model has been announced, and it’s unclear whether an internal combustion engine (ICE) or hybrid will be introduced. The world premiere is scheduled for spring 2025.
