Collecting Cars is a highly popular UK-based online auction platform that offers a safe and transparent auction environment and a carefully curated selection of cars. To date, over 17,500 cars have been sold online, generating sales of over £700 million.
Collecting Cars will have a booth at the 2025 Retromobile, being held in Paris, France, from February 5th to 9th. They will be exhibiting some of the vehicles from the European Speed Collection, an online auction currently underway. The European Speed Collection, which includes everything from rare super sports cars to authentic rally cars that competed in the WRC, is expected to sell for over 3 million euros.
The highlight of this lineup is the 2014 Porsche 918 Spyder. This one-owner car has only 930km on the clock and features a Liquid Metal Silver exterior with a Mocha Brown/Orange leather interior. Its estimated winning bid is between 1.5 million and 1.7 million euros.
Another hotly anticipated auction is a 2009 Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722 S Edition Roadster with just 2,770 km on the clock. It’s a limited edition car, with only 150 units produced, commemorating the late Stirling Moss’s Mille Miglia victory. The estimated winning bid is between 625,000 and 700,000 euros.
