Seven rare cars in the first shield-bit system

Seven rare vehicles, including the 2021 Nissan GT-R50 by Italdesign shown above, will be auctioned at Sealed Bit Auctions, where bidders will remain anonymous.
Collecting Cars is a UK-based online auction site that has gained worldwide popularity, selling over 17,500 cars online to date and generating sales of over £700 million.
Collecting Cars is now adding the Shield Bit system to its online auction platform, which is being introduced to protect privacy, efficiency, and maintain the premium status of collector cars in excellent condition.
Collecting Cars has announced that it will be auctioning seven extremely rare vehicles at its first Shield Bit Auction in August, including a 2013 Ruf CTR3 Clubsport in near-new condition, a 1972 Ferrari Dino 246 GT, and a 2021 Nissan GT-R50 by Italdesign.
Edward Lovett, founder of Collecting Cars, explains the introduction of the Shield Bit system:
“The Shield Bit system is being introduced to broaden participation in our auctions and ensure the privacy collectors desire. Currently, transactions for rare vehicles are often conducted away from the public eye, and this new platform will ensure a high level of confidentiality while maintaining Collecting Cars’ global marketing power.”
Unregistered “812 Competizione”

The 2022 Ferrari 812 Competizione will be an extremely rare unregistered vehicle.
For the inaugural Shield Bit auction, Collecting Cars has lined up a number of highlights, including a low-mileage, unregistered 2022 Ferrari 812 Competizione finished in Grigio Competizione with Giallo Frei accents.
The 2013 Ruf CTR3 Clubsport is a rare example, with only seven units produced and only 143 miles (approximately 230 km) on the odometer, all in excellent condition. The 1994 Tuthill SCRS, of which 15 were produced, was based on the Porsche 911 (Type 993) as a homage to the 1974 IROC racer. It features a Pasher Red body with a custom leather interior.
The “Nissan GT-R 50 by Italdesign,” owned by a Swiss owner, is being sold in limited quantities by Nissan and Italdesign to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the GT-R and Italdesign. Additionally, a 2012 Lexus LFA and two Ferrari Dinos will be put up for auction online.
