The ID.GTI Concept embodies the GTI philosophy in electric form

In addition to the ID.GTI Concept, the limited edition Golf R Black Edition and the fully electric minivan ID.Buzz were also on display.
Since its first appearance in 1976, the GTI has reigned as the epitome of the “hot hatch.” Its practicality as a hatchback and performance rivaling that of a sports model have been refined with each successive generation. The ID.GTI Concept will be exhibited in the milestone year of the GTI’s 50th anniversary. This is a concept that Volkswagen has eagerly announced as a sports hatch for the EV era. It will be interesting to see whether Volkswagen can sublimate the “spirit of the GTI” into an electric vehicle. Also on display will be the limited edition Golf R Black Edition, a high-performance Golf R model, and the ID.Buzz, a fully electric minivan reminiscent of the Type 2.
Those who answer the questionnaire at the booth will receive a Volkswagen original tote bag (limited quantity) as a gift (while supplies last), and all visitors will receive a special booklet on the GTI and ID.Buzz. There will also be a talk show with a trainer certified by the German Volkswagen Academy.
