The two-door model has a 550mm shorter overall length and wheelbase than the four-door Wrangler, significantly improving maneuverability in urban areas and off-road performance.
The Jeep brand has had an unbroken lineage of off-road vehicles since its founding in 1941. The Rubicon, a high-performance model boasting the ultimate in off-road capability, was named after the model that could traverse the world’s most challenging trail, the Rubicon Trail, which stretches from Nevada to California in the United States.
The newly introduced Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is the most hardcore two-door model in the Wrangler line-up, and is the first two-door Wrangler Rubicon to feature a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder turbo engine, delivering powerful torque especially at low speeds.
The two-door model is 550mm shorter in overall length and wheelbase than the four-door model, significantly improving driving performance on rough roads. Another benefit is that the underside of the vehicle is less likely to come into contact with the road surface. Furthermore, the minimum turning radius is a small 5.3m, making it easy to maneuver in urban areas.
Extensive standard equipment introduced inside and out
The Wrangler Rubicon (2-door), limited to 100 units, comes equipped with exclusive features that create a tough exterior, as well as a full range of features including a 12.3-inch touch panel monitor.
The exterior features a black front grille (neutral gray metallic surround), auto-leveling LED lights, automatic headlights, rock rails, and a Freedom Top 3-piece modular hardtop (black). Rubicon-exclusive 17-inch aluminum wheels are also included.
The cockpit comes standard with a full-color 7-inch multi-view display, a 12.3-inch touch panel monitor, a Uconnect audio navigation system, a techno leather steering wheel, a leather-wrapped shift knob, nappa leather seats with Rubicon embroidery, heated front seats, and Alpine premium speakers with subwoofers.
The only body color available is the popular “Black C/C.”
